St Petersburg, visa-free tours

Visa Free Tours of St Petersburg

Open Russia Tours can arrange for visa-free tour programmes of St. Petersburg for Baltic cruise passengers and passengers of the cruise ferries 'Princess Maria' and 'Princess Anastasia'. Tours can be of up to 3 days, as cruise passengers are allowed a maximum of 72 hours in Russia without needing a visa.

Our 1, 2 and 3 day tour programmes provide a unique opportunity to tour the Imperial Capital of Russia and visit its palaces, museums, churches, cathedrals and historic monuments without the additional effort and expense involved in obtaining a visa. These tours provide the opportunity to explore this wonderful city and enjoy its history and culture, accompanied by an expert guide and with transportation by private car included.

Open Russia Tours is always happy to design an individual customized programme for you, based on your interests and expectations. As we have run many of these tours, however, we have included sample itineraries below. These day-tours described can be taken in any order and, if needed, modified to include your particular interests.

In order to take advantage of this visa-free opportunity, ferries passengers will need to make their hotel reservations through Open Russia Tours. A full list of hotels with prices and ratings is available upon request.

For nights spent at a hotel, we can also help arrange an evening programme for you, which might include a trip to the ballet, opera, symphony or folk-show, a boat-ride on the canals, or dinner in one of St. Petersburgs many restaurants (we are happy to provide recommendations if needed).
